** I did not write this **
COSTCO BAYERS LAKE, HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA ABUSE AN EMPLOYEE, ONLY COST IS MEMBERSHIP FEES…. Costco Wholesalers in Bayers Lake, Halifax, Nova Scotia seems to be allowing its members to take shots at its employees. The current event that took place was when a long time female employee was grabbed by a member and shaken so violently that it caused her to seek medical attention and she is off work with still undetermined injuries. This “Member” still holds his membership card that allows him to shop in any Costco store that he chooses. Another assault took place earlier this year when a male employee was assaulted by a “Member” exiting the store. This case is before the courts and within months the “Member” and long time employee will face a judge that will make a ruling on this case. Cases in the past have seen “Members” verbally abuse, physically abuse not only the employees but also members of management with little to no repercussions or banning of these so called “Members” in the stores. In both cases it is up to the employees to contact the RCMP to have charges laid and Costco will not get involved. They also must seek their own legal council, pay for this out of pocket and go through this with no support from their Costco employer. A number of “Members” stepped forward in this last assault and provided information so they could give the information to the law officials and did this because they knew it was wrong, not acceptable, and that an innocent person was abused in the work place. Even a member that was having lunch stepped forward and gave information so this so called “Member” could be apprehended by RCMP. I understand that companies do not disclose information or get involved in situations that involve legal action, but do they have the right to make sure that each and every person that enters their building or works for them is safe in the workplace. I assure you that if I was assaulted in the workplace that someone would need to answer to this not to mention pay for medical attention to the person that felt they could touch, not alone shake me or any other employee or person. Have we reached a point that we allow this to go on in our local business? Do we turn a blind eye to not only the people who work there but also the people who enter a local business? Do we sit in silence and just pretend that it did not happen and it will soon go away? This action is not tolerated, it never will be and it is not going to be, we all need to take a stand and let Costco know that in today’s civilization it is just not ok to say nothing, by sitting silent we are just as guilty and the man that thought it was ok to reach out and shake a person because he felt he could. Did he think that his $63.25 membership allowed him to do this? it has to others in the past, with nothing being done about it. In closing, we the public have to act not only within the laws of the store, but the laws of the land. We need to act respectfully in and out of stores and with each other. We need to let Costco know that what they kept behind their closed doors is now wide open. We the public will not tolerate this today, tomorrow or ever. I would like you to forward this to everyone you know and let Costco know that this is a big deal and they need to make a stand. A workplace is somewhere one should never fear for their health or safety, even though the cost exceeds $63.25 and the employees health and safety is priceless. Well news update, Police do not want to lay charges on this gentleman as he has a very clean record and they do not want to taint it. can you imagine if you were assaulted by someone that had a clean record the people who you put in place to serve and protect you would do nothing on this because you have “Not been caught for doing anything ” I am so upset with this decision. so people, it looks like something is going on here and I will keep you informed as more events unfold. Sad

Then to make matters worse, the HRM POLICE said they had more then enough evidence (my Moms statement and injuries, 2 other members who saw the assault and left their contact info for the police because they WANTED to give a statement, and multiple other employees who witnessed it) to press charges, all of a sudden changed their tune saying they didn’t feel comfortable pressing charges under the circumstances, which is that the guy has no record. So there you go Halifax. No criminal record? Bad day?? GO ASSAULT SOMEONE!

So BB Canada premiered last night. Im a huge big brother fan and was very excited when I heard it was coming to Canada finally! And Im now kicking myself for not auditioning, oh well next year.
So here are my impressions so far:
I hate the theme music. It needs to be said. Its annoying.
Of course Im rooting for the east coasters, but one of my favorites is definitely Kat. I think she has a very good chance of winning this. An early prediction.
My least favorites? The girl who says her name all the time, boobs, tan and nerd. I want to like mama bear, but her laugh grates on my nerves. Like Rachels.
Im hoping Emmett doesn’t go home tonight but I have a feeling he will… we’ll see tonight! Well, Ill see tomorrow because I don’t have cable lol
